Description

AMENDMENT TO VA255-14-Q-0795 Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 15, Leavenworth, KS deletes the following from RFQ SOW VA255-14-Q-0795 "Brand Name or Equal" commercial contract for Animal Cage Washer Unit SMC Model RW6290 with Components and Installation as a Small Business" Set Aside" requirement for the Columbia MO. VAMC due to limiting vendor completion and being too restrictive. FROM: Discharge Cooling: Non Monitored: Washer shall be provided with an integral cool-down apparatus which shall ensure that all effluent is cooled to 140 degrees F. or less before conduction to the customer's drain. This shall be accomplished by mixing the effluent with cold water from the owner's supply.
