- This contract is a single award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity Contract with Firm-Fixed-Priced Task Orders. Contractor support is required to conduct a Spectral Fatigue Analysis (SFA) for the AS 39 Class. The USS Emory S. Land (AS 39) will be the vessel analyzed. The SFA report shall identify high stress areas and the fatigue life of these areas. It shall also identify and recommend proactive repairs of high stress areas most likely to fail by 2035. A separate graphic Inspection Guide document will also be prepared to aid in the periodic inspections by ship's force and regulatory bodies. In addition, task orders may be issued requiring the Contractor to perform the necessary engineering and design to develop an installation drawing and work item (work package) for recommended modifications to structural areas determined to be susceptible to fatigue failure by 2035.
