Description
PR Number(s): FD20301400668 NSN: 4810015465240YQ VALVE,BUTTERFLY P/N: 105492-13-1, Description: Designed to regulate and control air pressure to an air turbine starter Supp. Description: various metals This is a requirement for the remanufacture of the B-52 Butterfly Valve. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and all material to accomplish the overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging of the B-52 Butterfly Valve. A firm fixed priced, Minimum/Maximum, Indefinite Quantity contract for three years is contemplated. The solicitation number will be FA8118-14-R-0025. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Overhaul NSN 4810-01-546-5240YQ, P/N: 105492-13-1, Noun; Butterfly Valve; Applicable to B-52 aircraft; Minimum Quantity: 40 each, Maximum Quantity: 150 each Item 0002: Over and Above Work. Item 0003: Data IAW DD 1423. Deliveries are to be 30 each per month every 30 days. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 11 Apr 2014. The Government does not possess adequate data to compete this requirement. APPROVED SOURCE is: Honeywell Intl Inc. PR Number is FD2030-14-00668. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
