- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office-8, in support of James A. Haley Veterans Hospital intends to negotiate a noncompetitive award under Request for Quotation (RFQ) number VA248-14-Q-0729, with Silvertree Propco L.L.C. doing business as Westin Snowmass Resort, Snowmass Colorado, a small business to provide Hotel Accommodations from March 29 - April 5, 2014 for the purposes of competing in or direct patient care support of Service Disabled Veterans attending for the first time the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic representing the James A. Haley, Veterans Hospital, located at 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33612. This procurement is a sole source award pursuant to authority of sections 502 and 503 of Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Health Care, and Information Technology Act of 2006 (38 U.S.C. §8127 (b)) and FAR 6.302-1 Sole source award under Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The Government intends to award a fixed price contract in accordance with all terms and conditions of the solicitation. The NAICS code assigned to this acquisition is 721110 and the size standard is $30M. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide rooms and basic services to patients and/or their caregivers in accordance with the requirements of this SOW. This includes transportation and storage of baggage, wheelchairs, and other medical/sports equipment arriving two days prior to Veterans arrival from the airport to the Hotel. All work shall be performed on-site at the Westin Snowmass Resort, 100 Elbert Lane Snowmass Village, CO 81615 for a stay from Saturday March 29 to Saturday April 5, 2014.
