Description

The VA San Francisco Medical Center (VAMC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with GE Medical Systems. The proposed contract action is 12 lead ECG components and applicable software updates that must be compatible and integrated with currently installed patient monitoring systems, including Dash 3000/4000/5000 patient monitors. Key System Features and Processes "Compatible with the facility's existing GE ECG monitors "Acute Cardiac Ischemia Time-Sensitive Predictive Instrument (ACI-TIPI) software interface. This sole source action is in accordance with the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer for consideration. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements. Responses are due by March 31st at 2:00 PM PST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses must be e-mailed to mallory.sharpe@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability statements will be provided by the Government.
