Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs in Dallas Texas, VISN 17, intends to negotiate a sole-source firm fixed price service agreement with a base and four (4) option years with Hurdle & Associates Inc. to perform certification testing on forty-one (41) existing line isolation monitors (LIM) located throughout the Dallas VA Medical Center. Testing should include current leakage and ground integrity of existing isolated power panels. NAICS code 541990. Justification for this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1,Only one Responsible Source and No Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no valid responses are received, the South Texas Veterans Health Care System will proceed with the intended sole source contract. Responses must be received no later than 12:00 P.M.
