- Solicitation Number: SPE3SE-13-R-0056 Notice Type: Sources Sought (Pre-solicitation) Synopsis: This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quote (RFQ), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). DLA Troop Support is preparing to solicit a long term contract for the NSNs listed below. This will be an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC), Fixed-Price type with Economic Price Allowance (EPA) provision. The purpose of this synopsis is conduct market research to identify qualified vendors capable of manufacturing items in accordance with the requirements listed under each NSN below. Please review the below NSNs and provide any additional sources that are able to manufacture these items. Please provide the company name, address, city and state, POCs with telephone, e-mail and/or fax information. We thank you in advance for your interest and assistance. There are a total of sixty-four (64) NSNs listed below. Sixty-one (61) NSNs currently cite the approved manufacturing source as: Cospolich, Inc. (CAGE: 66682). Three (3) NSNs cited multiple approved manufacturing sources as follows: (1) NSN 7310-01-494-0125, approved manufacturing sources: Wells Manufacturing Co. (CAGE: 87746), and Cospolich, Inc. (CAGE: 66682); (2) NSN 4110-01-411-4562, approved manufacturing sources: MGR Equipment Corp. (CAGE: 11718), Atmost Refrigeration Co., Inc. (CAGE:0WPH5), and Cospolich, Inc. (CAGE: 66682); NSN 4110-01-462-6427, approved manufacturing sources: Kason Industries, Inc (CAGE: 4K538), and Cospolich, Inc. (CAGE: 66682). These NSNs are used by the Navy in the galley kitchens of ships, aircraft carriers, and submarines, and must meet the Navy's unique design, form, and fit specifications required by these vessels. DLA Troop Support does not possess adequate data for the evaluation of potential sources for these NSNs. Vendors interested in becoming approved sources for these NSNs must submit the appropriate information as outlined in DLAD 52.217-9002, Conditions for Evaluation and Acceptance of Offers of Part Numbered Items. These items require source approval by NAVSEA (Naval Sea Systems Command), the Engineering Service Activity (ESA), who has design and configuration control of all specifications, technical data, and the data and/or knowledge pertaining to the quality, performance, and maintenance of these galley kitchen equipment items. Interested vendors/contractors are requested to review the Item Descriptions carefully to identify any potential manufacturing issues or challenges for which they wish to forward any questions, statements, or requests for clarification. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research only. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with the submission of capability statements in connection with the market survey. Any information provided in response to this Sources Sought Notice is voluntary. All submitted information shall remain with the Government and shall not be returned. The planned solicitation for these items listed herein will be synopsized in the FedBizOpps website, and it will be the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps for this notice.
