- This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking Small Business responses in order to determine Small Business participation in this acquisition. This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely to identify prime Small Business contractor sources and determine their capabilities to fulfill the Government's requirement. This notice is not a solicitation for quotes. No award will be resulted from this notice. The Forest Service, Cibola National Forest is seeking Small business to provide Asbestos abatement at Lake Marvin (close to Canadian TX.) and asbestos abatement and removal of structures and obstructions at Lake McClellan(close to Amarillo TX). Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies necessary to abate the asbestos in the campground pavilions located at the Lake McClellan Campground and at the Cabin at Lake Marvin in the Black Kettle National Grasslands District of the Cibola National Forest in accordance with all State and Local regulations. The contractor shall decommission the area of the Lake McClellan Campground indicated by the Contract Officer and legally dispose of pavilion structures, concrete tables, grills and fire rings, bollards, concrete parking curbs, sign and info boards, concrete vehicle barriers, metal trash bins, concrete stair flights, and water stand pipes offsite. 1. Abatement of 10 pavilion roofs (26 ft. x 16 ft.). 2. Abatement of window putty around windows in cabin 8 at Lake Marvin. Bid Option 2 - Demolition and removal of the following campground site items that are above grade (See figures 1-7) 3. 9 pavilion structures (26 ft. x 16 ft.). Demolition only includes removal of all structural supports while bolts and fasteners shall be cut flush to the existing concrete slab. 4. 40 Concrete Tables (8ft x 4ft table w/ two 8ft x 16 in benches on two 3ft x 2.5ft leg uprights) 5. 19 Grills and fire rings 6. 176 Bollards (5 foot x 4 inch pipe w/ in concrete approx. 14in x 24 in) 7. 6 Concrete parking curbs (5ft x 4in x 8in) 8. 5 Signs and Info Boards 9. 288 Concrete Vehicle Barriers (4.5ft x 1ft x 10 in) 10. 8 Metal Trash Bins 11. 5 Concrete stair flights 12. 6 Water Stand Pipes Interested vendors responses to this synopsis shall include the following information: A.
