Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with LifePort Inc. 1620 Heritage Street Woodland, Washington 98674 for the piece/part replacement of Aircraft Occupant Ballistic Protection System (AOBPS) ship set components 2 each Ballistic Panel Assy. The proposed action is for a firm fixed price commodity for which the Government does not own technical data specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this commodity or equal or service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The requirement will be released a non-commercial requirement under FAR Part 12.
