- Sources Sought Synopsis Photo 2 Photo 1 Contractor Capability Survey SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR MULTI-TYPE II INDICATOR PART NUMBERS: 698043-1/9D-80701-1 NSN 6620-01-443-1214LG Item Description: The Multi-Type II Indicator is a Night Vision Imaging System compatible Liquid Crystal Display multi-function unit. When installed in the main engine instrument panel, engine oil pressure is presented on the left side of the dial characterized by the discrete legend "ENG", range is 0-250 pounds square inch (PSI). Gearbox oil pressure is presented on the right side, with a discrete legend "G/B" with range of operation of 0-500 PSI. When indicator is installed in the in-flight station overhead control panel, Oil Quantity is presented in the top center of the dial, with a discrete legend "QTY" and indicates units in gallons. Oil Temperature section is presented on the left side of the dial, with a discrete legend "TEMP" and indicate oil temperature in degree Celsius. Oil Cooler Flap Position Indicator is presented on the right side of the dial, with the discrete legend "FLAP" with range of operation of 0-100 percent. An "AUG" indication is displayed in the bottom center of the indicator when a low ground input is received during oil cooler augmentation operation. Maintenance Repair Action: The maintenance required for this task is to repair twenty (20) Multi-Type II Indicators and return to serviceable condition. To accomplish this task all reparable units will require troubleshooting and teardown to determine what internal component(s) is/are defective. After troubleshooting, replace defective internal component(s) and test each unit to ensure that only fully serviceable units are returned.
