Description
The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to purchase as 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Outfitting Police Vehicles on the mid-size police sedans for a one (1) year base period with four (4) one year option periods. The base period of performance is anticipated to be 01 June 2014 through 31 May 2015. The outfitting services are for the Commander, Navy Region Naval District Washington Operations, Washington D.C., which operates in and around the National Capital Region which includes six major commands and twenty two fence lines, located in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. The proposed contract action will be Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Requirements. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 811198. The size standard is $7.0M. The resulting contract will be for a one (1) year base period with four (4) one year option periods along with FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services . All options will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 17.206(a). The solicitation, any documents related to this procurement, and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. THE RFQ WILL BE AVAILABLE ON OR AROUND 17 APRIL 2014. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials nor owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
