- This is not a Request for Project Proposals, and is intended for planning purposes only. An award will not be awarded from this announcement. The Government intends to announce a Request for Project Proposal (RPP) for the execution of a project awards in support of Homeland Defense related Research Areas. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the Consortium for System of Systems Security (SOSSEC), and industry in general, advanced notification of the Government's intent. It is the intent of the Government to make multiple project awards to the members of the SOSSEC Consortium as a result of member project proposals submitted via the RPP. The anticipated Research Areas for which project proposals will be sought is as follows: 1. Critical Infrastructure, Key Resources, and Force Protection 2. Command and Control Technology Development 3. Sensor Development and Platform Implementation 4. Platform and Integration Testing The RPP (W15QKN-12-9-1006 RPP-2014-2) will be issued to the SOSSEC's Administrative Agent, SOSSEC, Inc., who will then issue the request to the members of the Consortium.
