- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-14-R-0134 for the following service: The intent of an awarded contract shall be to perform grounds maintenance at New Albany National Cemetery, New Albany, IN. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies and on-site supervision required to perform total grounds maintenance at New Albany National Cemetery, 1943 Ekin Ave, Albany, IN 47150 covering the period from Date of Award through 09/30/2018, if options exercised. Zachary Taylor is a National Shrine and the standards of maintenance and appearance at this cemetery must reflect this nation's concern for those interred there. For this reason, the contractor's strict adherence to the contract specifications is required and essential. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications, schedules and drawings. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation, any pertinent OSHA Occupational and Safety regulations, and any State and/or local regulations, laws and codes. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 561730. Size standard is $7.0 Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about March 21, 2014. Responses to the solicitation are due at 2pm EST. on or about April 07, 2014 (depend on solicitation issue date). Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments. Failure to submit all documentation required as required so, may result in your submission being determined non-responsive and removed from further consideration.
