- The U.S. General Services Administration announces the need for janitorial and related services at the Social Security Administration located 2401 Lind Street, Quincy, Illinois, 62301. The scope of work consists of, but is not strictly limited to providing janitorial services inside and outside of the building. Some items may include, grounds maintenance, window washing, snow removal, recycling, pest control, and trash removal. This procurement is a Total Small Business set aside. Funds are currently available. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 561720. This is a negotiated, firm fixed price procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. The solicitation will be available on or about April 7, 2014; the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as FedBizOpps(FBO). FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information from FedBizOpps, you will first be required to register with SAM (System for Award Management). You may access SAM at the following URL, www.sam.gov. Once you register with SAM you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. You may access FedBizOpps via the following URL, www.fbo.gov. Specifications, Drawings and other related documents cannot be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be on, or about May 1, 2014 at 3:00 pm (CST), the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation.
