- The National Institute of Health's (NIH), Division of Simplified Acquisition Policy and Services (DSAPS), Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) Program Branch is requesting market research information from commercial small business vendors. This information will be reviewed by the BPA Program Branch and may be used to setup future market research meetings with potential vendors. The mission of the BPA Program Branch is to aid those in simplified acquisition by creating NIH-wide BPAs that can be used by all 27 Institutes and Centers (ICs) of the NIH. The agreements provide an efficient way for buyers to acquire commercial commodities and services while promoting competition. Currently, the BPA Program Branch has BPAs in 68 categories with numerous participating vendors. The Branch is constantly seeking vendors that can meet the needs of our customers with great products/services at a good value. More information about the Program can be found at http://oamp.od.nih.gov/dsaps/bpa-program. At this time the Branch is seeking information from small businesses that are within the following NAICS: MEDICAL/SCIENTIFIC EQUIPMENT/INSTRUMENTS 423490 Laboratory equipment (except dental, medical, ophthalmic) merchant wholesalers Vendors shall submit a capabilities statement, an authorized reseller letter (if applicable) and a listing of commodities or services to Mr. Micole Cheatham (micole.cheatham@nih.gov). Updates, amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the internet at www.fbo.gov under Special Notice. Vendors shall be responsible for obtaining this Notice and related Amendments, if any, from www.fbo.gov after being posted. The Government will not maintain a mailing list. Any communications regarding this notice must be made in writing and forwarded via email to micole.cheatham@nih.gov, and shall identify the Notice number, company name, company address, as well as point of contact email address and phone number. Vendors shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov, in order to be eligible for business with the Federal Government.
