Description
Military children make up a very special part of our nation's population. Although young, these brave sons and daughters stand in steadfast support of their military parents through moves and deployments. From deployments to new schools, military children are faced with unique challenges that ordinary youth their age do not experience. To honor their unique contributions and sacrifices on behalf of our country, each April is designated the Month of the Military Child and all branches of services provide special days and events to honor the family and their children. In accordance with AFI 34-108, para. 3, the 78th Force Support Squadron's Child Development Centers and Youth Program in celebration of The Month of the Military Child will be holding "The Fit and Healthy Families Easter Egg Hunt" on April 19th and is seeking Commercial Sponsorship. This special celebration was established to recognize and applaud families and their children for the daily sacrifices for they make in supporting America's US Air Force, and to underscore the important role children play in the Armed Forces community. Open to the entire base population, a variety of activities are provided for children and family members of all ages including: bouncy castles, carnival games, free food, face painting, etc. This event is free to all ID card holders and their families. Estimated attendance approximately 2000. Sponsorship is fundamental to the success of this event. Robins AFB invites you to join in supporting Robins events by becoming a commercial sponsor. Sponsorship may take the form of monetary or in-kind contributions. In appreciation for your sponsorship, your company will receive public recognition and exposure. The level of exposure is determined by the level of sponsorship, with all sponsors prominently acknowledged throughout the event. Sponsor exposure may include name and logo recognition on all event print media, including posters, signage, and banners, brochures, pictures and media coverage. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a non-appropriated fund instrumentality of the US Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government.
