- CLIN Listing for OEM Parts This sources sought notice is issued in accordance with FAR Part 5. For information regarding this acquisition, contact the Contracting officials listed herein. All inquiries shall be in writing. The U.S. Coast Guard is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for HUBZone concerns or for Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business concerns (SDVOSB) or for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 333611 and the small business size standard is 1000 employees. The acquisition is for the repair overhaul Elliot Turbocharger model H564 used onboard the 378' WHEC cutter and Elliot Turbocharger model BC370H used onboard the 110' WPB cutters. The Coast Guard fleet consists of eight (8) 378' WHEC cutters with four (4) turbochargers per cutter and thirty one (31) 110' cutters with two (2) turbochargers per cutter in accordance with the attached parts listing. This requirement must be completed utilizing only genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Remanufactured or Aftermarket parts are not acceptable. It is the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate solely with Cameron Compression Systems, or a Cameron Compression Systems certified retailer/repair facility. Cameron Compression Systems is believed to be the only firm that possesses the required capabilities to ensure form, fit, function and compatibility with existing onboard cutter configurations and equipment and conformity to the OEM design requirements. The U.S. Coast Guard does not possess the data rights to the drawings, specifications, schematics, or other technical data for these turbo chargers. All data, specifications, and drawings are believed to be proprietary to Cameron Compression Systems. The turbo chargers are required to be in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) specifications, standards and recommended service procedures. Technical data, drawings, special tooling/equipment, and software pertaining to Elliot Turbo Chargers are propriety and are not available for release to the public. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. Period of Performance: It is anticipated that a firm-fixed priced requirements contract for one base year and four (4) one (1) year options will be awarded. Place of Performance: At the prospective contractor's facility. Please respond by e-mail by 03 April 2014, 4:00 pm (EST). Questions may be referred to travis.a.spires@uscg.mil. Your response must include: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact with telephone numbers; (c) past performance references including points of contact and telephone numbers. At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. Submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed. Solicitation documents will only be made available on www.fbo.gov; no paper solicitation packages will be made available. It is the offerors' responsibility to monitor FedBizOpps for changes or amendments to this notice.
