- The U. S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tenant Division, intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 13.501(a)(1)(i)) with the Thermo Electron Corporation, 81 Wyman St Waltham, MA, 02453-3465 USA. The contractor shall provide an annual periodic on-site maintenance and calibration of Energy-Dispersive XRF Spectrometer Serial Number 1107226 (MMCN H5192) for the U.S. Army Public Health Command (USAPHC) laboratories. USAPHC already owns and operates the laboratory equipment which requires maintenance and Nova Biomedical is the only vendor who can provide the required service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 334516 and the size standard is 500. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice shall be received no later than 4:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time (EST), March 26, 2014. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers.
