Description

1.Introduction/Purpose The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for automated data processing support as outlined in the Draft Statement of Work. This support will provided to the FAA ™s Technical Computer Data Center ™s (TCDS) Laboratory Technical Services Branch, ANG-E13. 2.Incumbent Contractor A3 Technology Inc. 3.Nature of Competition The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time. The FAA anticipates the procurement to be set-aside for competition among SEDB-8(a) small business concerns. Please note: Based on the current FAA guidance to utilize existing multi-award vehicles whenever practicable, the responses to this announcement will be a determining factor regarding whether the use of an existing multi-award vehicle is appropriate. 4.Standard Language Interested companies are reminded that “ (a)This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposal of any kind; (b)The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c)The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d)Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense 5.North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code The projected NAICS code for this requirement is 541519 (Other Computer Related Services) with an applicable size standard of $25.5 Million. 6.Submittal Requirements for Market Survey Interested companies are required to submit the following: (a)Capability Statement “ Submit a summary of your firm ™s capability in meeting the FAA ™s requirement as described in the attached Draft SOW. Please include: (i) technical approach (ii) corporate experience with this type of work in a campus setting (iii) any additional information to assist the FAA in planning the acquisition strategy The capability statement should not exceed four (4) pages in length. (b)Business Declaration “ Please complete the attached form, along with the appropriate Small Business Administration (SBA) certification where applicable. 7. Delivery of Submittals All submittals must be received via email at Kimberly.A.Knight@faa.gov no later than 4:30 PM(EST) on April 1, 2014. Vendors must contact the Contracting Officer, Kimberly Knight, with any questions regarding this market survey via email only at the email address above. 8.Other (a)The FAA will not be conducting a site visit prior to submittals in response to this market survey announcement (b)Any confidential or proprietary information submitted in response to this announcement must be marked accordingly by the vendor. Such information will not be disclosed outside of the acquisition team.
