- This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that OICC MCI East Camp Lejeune intends to solicit bids and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for Replace Feeder Loop, New River Air Station. The work includes, but is not limited to, removing and replacing approximately 32,749 LF of overhead electrical distribution lines, associated poles, and distribution equipment UN665 Marine Corps Air Station New River and incidental related work. The proposed contractor will provide sufficient material, labor, equipment, supervision, and transportation to fulfill all requirements of the contract in accordance with industry standards. This work shall be completed within 360 days of the effective award date of the contract. The procurement method to be utilized is FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and the estimated cost for this procurement is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 238210 and the annual size standard is $14,000,000. The proposed contract listed here is being considered as a 100 percent Small Business (SB) set-aside. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. Offerors can view and/or download the solicitation, and any attachments, at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ when it becomes available. Plans, specifications, and drawings will be available for electronic download on or about 29 March 2014. Bids will be due on or about 28 April 2014 at 2:00 PM. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond of 20% of the amount of their proposal.
