Description
This is a 15 day announcement only. The 30 day solicitation will be posted after 3/28/2014. Solicitation will include: Base period for Heating oil, Diesel and Unleaded fuel as well as four additional option years, subject to the availability of funds. Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site (HOFU) has a total of ten heating/fuel oil holding tanks located at six units throughout the park. On an average annual basis an estimated 4,200 gallons of dyed unmarked heating oil are delivered to these 6 locations. The parks need for service/delivery occurs between the months of November and March. Anticipated frequency, location and capacities are specified in the scope of work to be performed. The contractor shall be responsible for providing the personnel and equipment to perform the work, as well as ensuring that all required licensing, and permitting to pump and transport heating oil is obtained and maintained. Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site (HOFU) has two tanks designated for unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel storage. On an average annual basis an estimated quantity of 900 gallons of 87 bulk octane unleaded gasoline and 450 gallons of #2 off-road diesel fuel are delivered to Hopewell Furnace. The 2 tanks are located at 2 Mark Bird Lane, Elverson PA 19520. The parks need for service/delivery occurs throughout the year. Anticipated frequency and capacities are specified in the scope of work to be performed. The contractor shall be responsible for providing the personnel and equipment to perform the work, as well as ensuring that all required licensing, and permitting to pump and transport fuels is obtained and maintained.
