- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Enclosed Tandem-axle Trailer Minimum Specifications Enclosed portion of trailer should be constructed on a frame 8.5' wide, 7' high, and 16' long, outside dimensions, with tandem axles for weight support, and be white in color. Frame - - Flat floor design. - 16 quote mark on-center wall supports. - 16 quote mark on-center roof cross-members a minimum of 1 quote mark x 3 quote mark. - Insulation in both ceiling and walls for efficient heating and cooling. - 16 quote mark on-center floor cross-members. - Top wind jack, tongue mounted, a minimum of 5,000 pound capacity. - Steel frame perimeter, painted to prevent rust and corrosion. - All tubular wall construction. - Spread axle design, including fenderettes. - 2 5/16 quote mark coupler for attachment to tow vehicle. - Wiring harness with 7-way round plug. - Two axles a minimum of 3,500 pounds torsion each with grease fittings and brakes. - ST205/75R15/LRC radial tires on standard wheel, plus spare tire of same size/tread pattern. Interior - - Seamless non-skid vinyl flooring. Floor supports need to be able to withstand weight of all additional options and that of 3 average adults. - Wheel boxes of a smooth aluminum finish. - Three LED ceiling-mounted lights, minimum of 18 quote mark Wx24 quote mark L, operated via one wall switch. - White aluminum walls and ceiling, to allow for easy cleaning. - In-floor compartment for storage of spare tire. - L-shaped upper aluminum cabinets, minimum of 18 quote mark Hx14 quote mark D, along top portion of front and entire driver's side of trailer. Doors should have closure system to prevent opening while in transport. - L-shaped lower aluminum cabinets, 37 quote mark Hx24 quote mark D, along front and driver's side of trailer to the point of accommodating all of the appliance options. - The remaining driver's side to have one of the following, whichever the space will accommodate. 1) A lower cabinet a minimum of 37 quote mark Hx20 quote mark D with all doors having a closure system to prevent opening while in transport. Lower cabinets should have a smooth finish 24 quote mark aluminum or stainless steel countertops for a working surface and for easy cleaning. OR 2) An aluminum or stainless steel storage box with two equally spaced compartments. The storage box should have inside dimensions of 10' 7 quote mark Lx20 quote mark Hx20 quote mark D. Middle compartment divider to serve as quote mark brace quote mark for use as a bench for sitting when closed. An adequate water resistant padded cushion should be mounted on top of storage box lid. Cushion should be removable (via snap buttons, Velcro, other fastening system) for cleaning purposes. - Curbside wall will have the option above that was not installed on the driver's side wall. EXAMPLE: If storage box was installed on driver's side wall, the cabinets will be installed on the curbside wall. - Lower cabinet should have a 2-bowl stainless steel sink, with faucets and proper drains and vents. Minimum of a 10-gallon water heater that will function on both LP and electric to be installed for sink to be included and wired up ready to use. All venting and exterior access doors/panels to be included. - Battery kit with two deep cycle batteries provided, stored via an in-floor double battery compartment with lid matching trailer floor and all necessary fuses/fuse panel wired up ready to use. - Plumbing package with batteries wired in and properly vented, and to include converter with battery charger. A minimum of 40-gallon fresh water tank, 50-gallon gray water tank, and 50-gallon black water tank installed. City/public water inlet hookup and gravity fill hook up for convenient refilling. Should include monitor panel for both the tanks and batteries. Dump valves for emptying tanks. Minimum of 3.0 GPM water pump with winterizing capabilities, 2 quote mark drain and 2 quote mark vent pipe to be included. - Lower cabinet should be set up with minimum of 6.0 cubic feet 3-way refrigerator, capable of operating via 12V, 120V, and LP. Must be in custom-fitted cabinet and include all necessary vents. - Lower cabinet should have 3 burner LP cook top, in custom-fitted cabinet, with range hood, vents, control panels, and all necessary LP fittings/kit. - Lower cabinet should have minimum of 1.0 cubic foot microwave oven, in custom-fitted cabinet located under LP cook top, if available. - Additional upper aluminum cabinet on curbside wall, minimum of 18 quote mark Hx14 quote mark D, the length that the space will accommodate. Cabinets should have closure system to prevent opening while in transport. - Six lights mounted under the bottom of upper cabinets, two evenly spaced on each side and one mounted over the sink and one over the cooktop. Lights should operate via 3 wall switches, one for each wall and one for the two lights over the sink and cooktop. - Six receptacles should be installed with two evenly spaced on each wall and two evenly spaced on front wall near sink and cooktop. Receptacles for refrigerator and microwave not included in the six. GFCI receptacles used where required by code. - All switches, lights, and receptacles should be the proper amperage and voltage as required by code. - All circuits should be housed in an appropriate breaker box with the proper size circuit breakers. Minimum of 50 AMP box rated for 50 Amps at 240V and for 100 AMPS at 120V. Electrical package should include a power cord for use from a land-based power source, in the event generator is not utilized. - Four windows, with capability of opening and with screen. Two windows evenly spaced on each side to be installed where spacing is allowed. Minimum size of 30 quote mark x22 quote mark. - Two windows installed in double rear doors. One window installed in the center of each door. Minimum size of 30 quote mark x22 quote mark. - Minimum of 15,000 BTU air conditioner, mounted on front of trailer, with all necessary batteries/wiring to operate. Must include thermostat. If the option for mounting on front of trailer is not conducive and the air conditioner must be roof-mounted, it must be the low profile unit, adding no more than 10.5 quote mark of height to trailer. If air conditioner unit is roof-mounted then an easily removable protective aluminum cage must be fabricated around the entire unit to protect it from low-lying limbs and other obstructions. - Minimum of 25,000 BTU LP furnace with thermostat and ducting with all necessary batteries/wiring and LP connections to operate. - Interior must include a CO detector, smoke detector, LP detector and fire extinguisher. Exterior - - Rub rails (minimum of 3 quote mark width) located along both the upper and lower portions of trailer and along both sides. - Constructed of a minimum.030 aluminum. - Roof should be a one piece aluminum sheet with no seams or rivets. - Double rear cargo doors. - Rock guards to protect exterior finish. - LED brake and clearance lights. - 36 quote mark lockable entry door, with tinted window, on trailer's passenger side including a screen door. If keys are not able to be duplicated, must include a minimum of 6 keys with lock. - Axle degree upgrade to maximize ground clearance for off-road use. - One pair scissor jacks, one on each rear corner with a 5,000 lb. capacity each. - Extended tongue for ease of towing. - Two recessed exterior quartz halogen lights, minimum of 500W, mounted on the curbside. One should be mounted adjacent to side entry door and the other mounted centered between the windows. Each light should be operated by its own interior wall switch. - LP option for two 40 lb. tanks externally mounted. Generator -must meet as a minimum the below specifications. - Must have inverter to allow stable power for computers and other electronics. - engine displacement of 389cc. - AC output of 6500W at 120/240V. - 20A 125V Duplex receptacle, 30A 125V locking plug, and 30A 125/250V locking plug. - Convenient electric starting, with backup recoil option. - Fuel tank capacity of 4.5 gallons. - Run time of 4.7 hours at rated load and 14.0 hours at load. - Dimensions not to exceed 33.5 quote mark Lx26.4 quote mark Wx27.5 quote mark H. - Noise level not to exceed 60 dB(A) at rated load, 52 dB(A) at load. - Dry weight not to exceed 260 pounds. - Minimum of 3-year commercial warranty. - Minimum of 50-AMP generator wire prep kit with transfer switches. - Generator should be stored in a lockable box mounted on tongue of trailer to accommodate the size of the generator, with an expanded metal floor and double access doors with adequate venting. Include galvanized liners throughout interior of box. Trailer to be delivered FOB Destination to Wappapello Lake Project Office, 10992 Hwy T, Wappapello, MO 63966-8200. Delivery by 1 June 2014 Bidder must furnish descriptive literature with their quote along with specification sheet of trailer being quoted.
