Kingsbridge Road Rm. 9b64 Bronx NY 10468 Synopsis: Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Northport VA Medical Center, is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of installation and assembly of 41 metal frame beds and 41 wardrobe cabinets. Vendor will be responsible for delivery and installation of the following: 1) 41 metal frame beds- The beds must be made of steel, have a weight capacity of 1000lbs, frame color should be black with a powder coated finish, have a spring deck, should have an inside bed dimension of 36" wide by 80" long. Provide at least a 10 year warranty on the bed frame from any defects. 2) 41 wardrobe cabinets- Provide, install and assemble 41 laminated wardrobe cabinets for patients to store their personal belongings, i.e. hang clothes, shoes, etc. The cabinet should be made of powder coated steel with particle board substrate, have a cherry laminated door, with a 'J' bar for hanging clothes, and at least a 10 year warranty on the cabinet from any defects. The cabinet shall be 78" in height and 24" wide. 3) Provide 41 foam mattresses, 36 x80 with a 6" thickness, cover should be made of Nylon. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 337127. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing via GSA eBUY and must be received no later than March 20, 2014. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 337127. Qualified offerors shall be experienced in addition to providers (sellers) capable of supporting this facility. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to (a capabilities statement), DUNS number, address, point of contact. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registry (CCR) (see internet site: http://www.ccr.gov). Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax) and received no later than March 20, 2014 at 5:00PM. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business opportunities website http://www.sam.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
