FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE CONTACT Mitch Jacquay, EMAIL mitchell.a.jacquay.civ@mail.mil, Tony Blais EMAIL anthony.w.blais.civ@mail.mil This survey has been published to satisfy immediate and future Foreign Military customer requirements. **You must respond NO LATER than the Respond Date and Time Specifications for the PDR-77 are as follows: Features Alpha Probe measures surface alpha particle contamination from background to 999 K cpm, background to 999 K dpm/100 cm2, background to 180 Ci/cm2. Beta/Gamma Probe detects and displays beta article radiation from background to 5 R/hr. Beta/Gamma Probe detects gamma radiation from background to 999 R/hr. X-Ray Probe detects the presence of Plutonium under adverse weather conditions from background to 999 K cpm. Powered by 5 BA-3090 batteries (three in Ratemeter, two in X-Ray Probe). Operational Detects and measures alpha, beta, gamma and x-ray radiation. Used for weapon surveillance, nuclear accident, and incident response and assistance (NAIRA). Also used for routine monitoring for health and safety. Replaces the AN/PDR-56 and the AN/PDR-60. Environmental Meets temperature extremes - -40 C to +49 C (-40 F to 120.2 F). Meets operating altitude up to 4572 m (15 000 ft). Physical Radiacmeter Weight - 1.25 kg (2.75 lb). Size - 18.2 x 10.4 x 4.8 cm (7.2 x 4.1 x 1.9 in.). Beta/Gamma Probe Weight - 0.455 kg (1 lb). Any source that can provide the exact same PDR-77 Radiac as described above or a commercial version of the PDR-77, that possesses the same performance characteristics must show: Information/data/documentation proving that their proposed Radiac is able to meet the above mentioned environmental temperature/altitude requirements. If the cited environmental conditions are beyond the scope of a proposed commercial version describe the limitations of the proposed commercial version Radiac. Specifications for theVDR-2 are as follows: FEATURES PRE-SETTABLE AUDIBLE AND VISUAL: Dose and dose alarms. SETUP TIME: For all checks and alarms less than 1 min. ACCURACY: 15 %.
