- AMD (03/11/14): The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov on or about 14 MARCH 2014 and will have an approximate 30-day response period. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Knox intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Special Purpose Facility (SPF) Support Services for US Army Mission Support Battalion (USAMSB), FT Knox, KY. The phase-in period will be 1-31 May 2014 and the base period will commence on 1 June 2014 - 30 April 2015 with two, one-year option periods. Option periods will be exercised at the government's discretion. The solicitation will be for commercial, performance-based services. Offerors shall be required to submit their proposal in paper and electronic version. Proposals will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures. The government intends to award without discussions; therefore, the offeror's initial proposal shall contain its best offer from a technical and price standpoint. This acquisition is offered for competition limited to Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Business Development Program Participants with North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 541430 (Graphic Design Services) and with a size standard of $7 million. The solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov on or about 28 February 2014 and will have an approximate 30-day response period. Amendments, if any, will also be posted to the FBO website; offerors are cautioned to check the website frequently and acknowledge all amendments. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged not only to monitor FBO for the solicitation, but also to ensure eligibility data is active and up-to-date within the System for Award Management (SAM) and SBA databases. The government will not compose or maintain any type of solicitation mailing list. All questions must be submitted in writing via email to Teresa Simpson, Contract Specialist at teresa.a.simpson.civ@mail.mil with a quote mark cc quote mark to Sharon L. Crady, Contracting Officer at sharon.l.crady.civ@mail.mil. Any correspondence should reference the solicitation number. Each offeror is responsible for all costs of producing and submitting its proposal. Each proposal shall be submitted in accordance with the instructions contained in the solicitation. Proposals will not be accepted by hand carry, email or facsimile. Questions regarding the solicitation shall be submitted in accordance with instructions contained in the solicitation.
