- Description
- The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk intends to procure licenses and subscriptions for web-based access to military and industry specifications and standards, historical Department of Defense (DoD) standards, and Naval Instructions and Directives through a single access point in support of NAVSUP Weapons System Support (WSS) Philadelphia. The single access point is required to meet the minimum needs of the Government. The procurement is being processed as a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) order pursuant to the statutory authority of 41 U.S.C. 251, as implemented by FAR 8.405-6 (a)(1)(i)(B). The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Information Handling Services since they are the only known source with the capability of satisfying the Government ™s requirements at this time. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETTIVE PROPOSALS. A firm fixed price FSS order will be awarded as a result of the solicitation. The following open market items will also be included under this order: 1.License for Application & Services 2.AIA “ AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES ASSOC OF AMERICA “ NONMEMBER 3.ASTM STANDARDS COLLECTION VIA IHS STANDARDS EXPERT 4.AWS “ AMERICAN WELDING SOCIETY COLLECTION 5.IPC “ (MEMBER) 6.IPC 1 YEAR GOVERNMENT MEMBERSHIP 7.SAE INTL AMS, AS, GV & MANUALS COLLECTION 8.4D ONLINE CAPS UNIVERSE 3 SIMO USERS 9.APL/AEL ADD-ON 10.DEPOSIT ACCOUNT FOR STANDARDS The NAICS code for this requirement is 519190. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and may submit information that shall be considered by FLC Norfolk Philadelphia Office. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any responses to this synopsis should be sent to the attention of Christine Shockley, Code 260.1E at Christine.Shockley@navy.mil. These responses shall be received no later than 17 March 2014.
