- The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source award in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). A sole-source, fixed-price procurement with AirClean Systems LAKEWOODARD D RALEIGH, NC, 27604-3659,to renew maintenance service agreement for the FBI owned Forensic Drying cabinets. The Forensic Drying cabinets are manufactured and owned exclusively by AirClean Systems and therefore, they are the only vendor that can provide support services. Failure to purchase the identified items would result in the following: 1) voiding the manufacturer's warranty of the Forensic Drying cabinets. 2) AirClean Systems is the only vendor with certified technician to provide maintenance on Forensic Drying cabinets. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase will be awarded without further notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests in this requirement to this office by 9:00 AM (Eastern) March 19, 2014, via e-mail to the attention of: Montarious Usher, at Montarious.Usher@ic.fbi.gov. The North American Industrial Classification System Number (NAICS) is 339999 - ALL OTHER MISCELLANEOUS MANUFACTURING. The awardees shall be registered in the Central Contractor's Database (CCR) and also the Online Representations and Certification (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov Ensure your firm is registered in System for Award Management (SAM) - All vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012 to receive government contracts. In addition, the FBI will be using a new financial system on 10/01/2013 that has a direct interface with the SAM. If any current FBI vendor data conflicts with SAM Data, the information contained in SAM may override our current information on 10/01/2013. Please ensure that your company's SAM information updated and accurate. This includes TIN, EFT, DUNs, addresses and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization The North American Industrial Classification System Number (NAICS) is -- 423810 CONSTRUCTION AND MINING (EXCEPT OIL WELL) MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT MERCHANT WHOLESALERS. The awardees shall be registered in the Central Contractor's Database (CCR) and also the Online Representations and Certification (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to the acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to offeror-Commercial Items (JULY 2013): FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Item (JAN 1999), FAR clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Items (SEPTEMBER 2013; FAR clause, 52-212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (FEBRUARY 2012). Each offeror shall include a complete copy of the clause 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Item (FEBRUARY 2012).
