Description

The purpose of this amendment is to post questions submitted by vendors as well as the Government's responses. Question and Answer - Round Two March 10, 2014 1. I was looking at the subject RFI and am wondering if there is a page limit, as well as a MB size limit, on the response? A: There is a five page limit on Request for Information (RFI) responses. 2. I noticed Harris Corporation is the incumbent. At this time, is the VA still planning to exercise the option years with Harris? I'm also wondering if a transitional time frame will be provided, and if this effort will have a breakout SDVOSB component? A: The purpose of this RFI is for market research. The acquisition strategy will be based on the information received as a result of this RFI. 3. Is this looking at the future re- compete of the Harris Contract, or a nearer term competition? What is the anticipated timeframe of this period of performance to start for the effort on this notice? A: The purpose of this RFI is for market research. The acquisition strategy will be based on the information received as a result of this RFI.
