Description
THE SOLICITATION FOR THIS PROJECT WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT MARCH 25,2014. Description of Work: This is a service contract for an assortment of restoration and revegetation services for project areas within R6 Forests. Other National Forests and Government agencies may use this contract, but there is no obligation to do so. Other project sites may be located within Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming, but the majority of the work will be in Oregon and Washington across public lands. Work may occur, but is not limited to, adjacent to federal lands administered by the Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs and National Fish and Wildlife Service. Federal Agencies will require Interagency Agreements before using this contract. The resultant contract will be multiple-award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity type performance based service contract spanning approximately five (5) years. The evaluation of offers will include the technical proposal and price. The minimum quantity will be awarded to each contractor selected at the time of award. Subsequent task orders will be competed with the successful contractor pool. Three items are planned, and include: 1. Comprehensive Restoration, which includes all phases of restoration work, such as hydroseeding, aerial seeding, mulching, composting, planting, seeding, bio-engineering, road decommissioning, wetland channel realignment, evasive plant treatment, plant propagation, vegetative mapping, seed collection, and project monitoring. 2. Seed and Vegetative Collection, which includes inventory, mapping and collection of plant materials for restoration projects. 3. Plant Propagation, which includes nursery services to propagate and produce plant materials for restoration projects. 4. Tree Climbing, which includes conifer/hardwood cone and seed collection for restoration projects.
