- PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT FOR MOVING & RELOCATION SERVICES FOR MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND SHIP SUPPORT UNIT GUAM 1. Description of Services: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary for the removal, relocation and reassembly of all furniture, equipment and supplies for Military Sealift Command Ship Support Unit (MSC SSU GUAM). 2. Period of Performance: 7~9 April 2014. 3. Site Visit: Monday, 24 March 2014 at 0900 at MSC building 6060, Naval Base Guam (NBG). Coordinate base access with Pete Scroggins at 339-8045 or e-mail, warren.scroggins@fe.navy.mil. 4. Hours of Operation: 0700 ~ 1630 Monday through Friday. 5. Teardown: All identified furniture, equipment and supplies will be disassembled as needed and removed from buildings 6010, 6011, 6012 & 6060 NBG. 6. Move: All furniture, equipment and supplies removed from buildings 6010, 6011, 6012 & 6060 shall be moved to buildings 3110, K1 & K2 & 3115, NBG. Contractor shall provide 50 each, 24" X 15" X 10" legal size boxes to building 6060 within three days after award of contract. 7. Workforce: The contractor shall provide a professional work crew which includes a Move Captain who will maintain direct communication with the Government's move coordinator, Mr. Thomas Neville, 339-5656. 8. Security Requirements: The contractor will comply with all applicable DoD security regulations and procedures during the performance of this contract. The contractor is responsible for providing information to the Government's move coordinator to obtain clearance which will allow contractor access to the work sites. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is MSC SSU GUAM 14-002 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-61 dated 15 Oct 2012. This purchase is restricted to 100% Small Business concerns. This NAICS code is 484210 and the size standard is $25.5M. This is a requirement for non-personal services to provide all items and services necessary for the move, relocation and reassembly of furniture, equipment and supplies for the Military Sealift Command Ship Support Unit Guam (MSC SSU Guam) located at Naval Base Guam. The period of performance is 7-9 April 2014. Quotations must be received by 28 March 2014 and must be valid for 90 days after submittal. If the Contractor's failure to use reasonable care causes damage to any of this property, the Contractor shall replace or repair the damage at no expense to the Government as the Contracting Officer directs.
