Description

This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial service / items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. SYNOPSIS: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, on the behalf of the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center has a need for a new Card/Keypad Reader, Door Position Contact, Jamb Mounted Cylindrical Electrified Lockset and their associated Installation Labor. Also included in this proposal is the installation of a new Open-Above Ceiling Plenum composite access control cable run to the New Surgery Renovation Project Lenel Head-End Controllers. This procurement is for new equipment only; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. SOLICITATION: See attached solicitation VA250-14-Q-0217. This solicitation has been set-aside for small businesses. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit prices, the proposed extended prices, any prompt payment discount terms, any shipping charges, projected delivery date, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, and DUNS number. Vendor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible. To register, vendors may go via the internet to https://www.sam.gov. Further, vendor must be Lenel master certified and Dell certified to program and install items to our security network. The Government shall consider quotes received by 02:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, March 12, 2014. Quotes are to be e-mailed to Contract Specialist / Officer Harvey J.
