Description

The Department Of Veterans Affairs, NCO 15 Contracting Office intends to negotiate a commercial contract for Preventative Maintenance Service on a Dialysis Water System. This notice of intent to negotiate a Medical Equipment Service contract with a firm to provide on-call corrective maintenance on equipment that is malfunctioning or inoperable, as well as labor, travel expenses, and parts deemed necessary for that corrective maintenance, except Government furnished space and utilities, necessary to provide maintenance services for the John Cochran VA Medical Center located at 915 North Grand, St. Louis, MO 63106. The contractor will be required to provide and complete background check information on employees before award of the contract. This contract shall include a base year and four one-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.) The Product and Service Code is J046 (Water Purification and Sewage Treatment Equipment.) The small business size standard is $19M. The details including full specifications will be included in the Request for Quotes, which will be released on or about March 6, 2014.The close date will be on or about March 18, 2014.
