Description
Request for Information (RFI), Rift Valley Fever (RVF) Vaccine BACKGROUND: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), National Veterinary Stockpile (NVS) intends to obtain price, delivery, other market information, or capabilities for planning purposes for obtaining Rift Valley Fever (RVF) Vaccine(s). Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The goal is to develop sources of RVF vaccines for possible order by the USDA in the event of an outbreak of RVF in the United States. REQUIREMENT: The vaccine(s) must be (1) in on-going production, distribution, and use in one or more jurisdictions or countries in the world; and (2) suitable for use in vaccination programs in the United States. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES: The primary objective of issuing the RFI is to seek information and comments from companies that own or have the right/ability to license/permit RVF vaccines. A. Describe your company RVF vaccine(s) that is/are currently in production and distribution. B. Identify marketing authorizations or approvals for your company's RVF vaccine(s). C. Provide a brief description of the manufacturing facilities and process. D. Provide a brief summary of purity, safety, potency, proof of licensor, and efficacy data. E. Provide complete pricing information. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: All written responses must be received within 21 days of issuance of this RFI. Submissions should: (1) use Microsoft Word or Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF); (2) be sent to the point of contact listed in this notice; (3) be minimum 11 font on 8.5 X 11 paper; (4) be complete, sufficiently detailed, and organized in a manner that tracks to the information requested in this RFI; (5) include a single company point of contact with name, title, address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address(es); and (6) not exceed 10 single sided pages in total (not including cover page and cover letter). Other media types (i.e. CD, printed technical information) that meet the submission criteria above will be accepted and should be sent. Material that is advertisement only in nature is not desired. Any questions or inquiries must be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to the Contracting Office, to the attention of the point of contact listed in this notice.
