- SPECIFICATIONS FOR UTILITY TERRAIN VEHICLE (UTV) GAVINS POINT PROJECT 1. SCOPE: The successful bidder (vendor) will provide and deliver a fully assembled new 2014 utility terrain vehicle (UTV) as specified to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Gavins Point Project Office in Crofton, NE. The vendor must be registered with SAM (http://www.sam.gov) and have a DUNS number (http://fedgov.dnb.com/webform) before being awarded the contract. 2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Bidders are encouraged to contact Linda Filo at 402-667-2569 for questions on specifications. The vendor will supply and meet the following minimum requirements: UTV- Polaris Ranger Crew 900 or equivalent 60hp, 875cc 4-Stroke, Twin Cylinder Engine Automatic transmission with High/Low/Neutral/Reverse/Park Four Wheel Drive (4WD) capability Electronic Power Steering Gasoline powered, fuel capacity of 10 gallons Seating capacity for 5 adults Minimum 11 inch ground clearance Overall length not to exceed 12.5 feet Cargo box dimensions (L x W x H) 36.5 x 54 x 11.5 inches Load capacity 1,750 lbs Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) meets OSHA 1928.53 rollover performance requirements Dual A-Arm Suspension Instrumentation including odometer, hour meter, speedometer, fuel gauge, and clock Towing capacity of 2,000 lbs with a 2 quote mark receiver hitch Steel or aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires 26 quote mark in height Color: red, green, gray, or black (no camouflage style) The following UTV accessories will be fully installed: Lock & Ride Profit LX crew cab enclosure or equivalent: oDesigned to fit and work with above UTV oGlass windshield, glass back panel, poly roof, front poly doors with hinged windows, and rear poly doors Extreme Front & Rear Brushguards or equivalent to provide extensive protection to the front and rear of the UTV, undercarriage, and suspension. oFront brushguard must allow a winch to operate, should one be installed. oRear brushguard must be able to be used in conjunction with tow hitch. Front & Rear A-Arm Guards or equivalent to provide additional protection to suspension components. Windshield wiper & washer system 3. DELIVERY: The successful bidder is responsible for all delivery/shipping costs to deliver the UTV to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Maintenance Shop, Gavins Point Project, 55245 Highway 121, Crofton, NE 68730. Deliveries are accepted Monday through Friday (except federal holidays) between 7:30 am and 3 pm. The UTV shall be delivered by May 14, 2014. 4. AWARD: Award to the successful bidder shall be based on BEST VALUE per FAR Clause quote mark 52.212-2 EVALUATION - - COMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999) quote mark. 5. PAYMENT: Payment for the UTV will be made within 30 days following delivery and acceptance by the Government and receipt of a proper invoice. A proper invoice must include the contract number.
