Ashli Butrico Email: Lauren.Butrico@dla.mil This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement establishes the solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation is currently available on the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. Under the Solicitations tab enter the solicitation number you wish to download. Under the entered solicitation results, RFP/IFB Records, select click to view hyperlink. Solicitations are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at http://www.adobe.com. Solicitation number SPM4A8-14-X-0038 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This is notice of the Government's intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.1, full and open competition and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. Description of requirements: Double Column Band Saw in accordance with salient characteristics VIBB-14-14-1406 dated January 23, 3014. Performance period/completion date is 30 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination; Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Eglin AFB, FL 32542. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation sufficient to determine capability which shall be considered by the agency. Offers must be submitted to: Lauren.Butrico@dla.mil no later than closing response date and time. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management, ORCA, and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number. All offers received after the closing date listed may be considered "late" and may not be considered for award.
