- Description of Work: This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS, OR BIDS. NO SOLICITATION IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. A Market Survey is being conducted to determine if there are adequate Small Businesses, HUBZone, 8(a), Women Owned, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors for the following proposed contract(s): Two (2) Indefinite Delivery Contracts for Architect-Engineering for National Planning Center of Expertise for Costal Storm Risk Management Services. The primary work to be provided under this contract is assistance in Coastal Planning Services, independent technical review/external peer review, regional and nation-wide program involvement, research and development prioritization, headquarter policy review support, model certification, hurricane evacuation studies, and clean air compliance support. Work for other Government Agency within the U.S. boundaries of the Corps of Engineers could also be part of this contract. Award of an Indefinite Delivery Type contract is anticipated in September 2014. Contract duration is a base period of twelve months with options for up to four (4) additional periods. The total for the base and all option periods shall not exceed $12,000,000.00. The average Task Order value of the work under this contract is estimated to be $300,000.00 with a maximum of $1,000,000.00. NAICS for this project is 541330 and the size standard is $14.0 million. Responses to this sources sought announcement will be used by the government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested Small Business, HUBZone, 8(a), Woman Owned, or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business contractors should submit a completed SF 330 Part II for the prime and any subcontractors. Contractors may add narrative statements which should include size/classification of your firm, details of similar projects, completion dates, references and contract amounts. Narratives shall be no longer than FIVE (5) pages. Responses should be sent via email to Gregory Keaton at Gregory.C.Keaton@usace.army.mil not later than 3:00 p.m. on or before March 14, 2014. No other notification to firms for this project will be made.
