- Description
- The United States Postal Service (USPS) is seeking potential sources to manufacture stamped and personalized stamped envelopes. The selected supplier will be responsible for the fabrication and printing of both plain and personalized stamped postage envelopes, in regular and window format. The combined annual requirement is for approximately 325,000,000 envelopes in various sizes. The USPS designed stamp image is printed directly on the envelope inclusive of required taggants such as phosphor. These envelopes are manufactured in various standardized sized to meet USPS specifications. The envelopes are distributed nationally to post offices, government agencies, and private mail order customers. The requirement is for indicia to be printed directly on envelopes using flexographic, gravure and offset processes. The supplier must have the overall financial capacity to fully support and fulfill all anticipated requirements, including the full range of product types and volume demands. Supplier must have a distribution network capable of meeting USPS requirements according to the delivery and quality standards set forth in the Statement of Work (if FOB-Destination) Supplier must be able to adhere to all the Quality Assurance requirements provided, in order to monitor and measure contract performance. Supplier must have the overall capability to fully support all engineering research and development enhancements, and produce First Article Testing (FAT) samples, which address the advancements in the substrates, and additive elements that best meet USPS operating and security requirements.
