Description
Capabilities Statement MRA Statement of Work This is a Sources Sought Synopsis; there is no solicitation available. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Synopsis is published for market research purposes. This market research will be used to help determine if this may be a competitive acquisition, or if a set-aside for any small business program is appropriate (Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned (SDVO), Women Owned (WO) small businesses). Please review this announcement, including all attachments, in their entirety. Request that prospective offerors complete and return a Capabilities Statement that describes the comparable product and its specifications to identify firms who possess the capability to provide a Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA) Expert. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity that receives or responds to this announcement. The Operational Contracting Branch Base Support Acquisition Section (AFLCMC/PZIOB) is seeking potential sources, including small business sources. The Government anticipates issuing a commercial request for proposals (RFP) for the Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA) Expert. The Government anticipates a competitive acquisition for this award. The contractor shall provide all materials needed to provide a Manufacturing Readiness Assessment (MRA) Expert in accordance with the information in Attachment 1 Statement of Work, included in this posting. In addition to the information requested in the paragraph below, entitled "Specifications," responding parties must also indicate their size status in relation to the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). The NAICS Code is 611430 with a Size Standard of $10.0 Million. Firms responding should indicate their size in relation to this size standard, and indicate socio-economic status (SB, 8(a), SDVO, WOSB, and HuBZone). Also indicate if you are a manufacturer or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of this product or the product(s) you will be supplying. Respondents are further requested to indicate their status as a Foreign-owned/foreign-controlled firm and any contemplated use of foreign national employees on this effort. The government reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside based upon responses hereto for any subsequent action. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. The Government's assessment of the capability statements received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition or as a set-aside for small businesses, or any particular small business designation (e.g. SDVOSB, WOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), etc.). CAPABILITIES STATEMENT: All interested firms shall submit a Capabilities Statement (Attachment 2) that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities-indicating examples of commercial sales-and product specifications related to this effort. Therefore, if this subject line is not included, the e-mail may not get through the e-mail filters.
