Description
Assistance to DPTMS and DPW with regard tothe planning and coordination of the sustainment of Fort Benning ranges and training areas in general and the Good Hope Maneuver Training Area in particular. In coordination with Fort Benning's Master Planning Division, contractor shall recommend the most efficient use of space and coordinate the ordering and delivery of facility furnishings. The contractor shall provide analysis and recommendations with respect to the execution of these activities for review and approval by the Fort Benning Leadership. A follow on contract is being prepared but will not be awarded on or about 1 June 2014. A 90 day bridge will allow the expertise to remain in place for the Good Hope Maneuver Training Area (GHMTA) planning effort and Facility Swing Space and Furniture Management Firms/companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration video, etc. and provide information of previous items sold related to this type of work. The information provided will not be returned. All data should be sent at no cost to the US Government NO LATER THAN Feb 28 2014 to the Contracting Office provided below. The Capability statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) Small Business Size/Certification (to include 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Familiarity and knowledge of requirement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. The Government will not award a contract based on this Sources Sought Notice, the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. TELEPHONE INQUIRIES WILL NOT E ACCEPTED. This is a request for small businesses interested in serving as prime contractors to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating how they could meet the requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430, Professional and Management Development Training with a size standard of $7.0. Responses are due no later than 1100am EST, Friday, 28 Feb 14. And shall be electronically submitted to louise.j.bethay2.civ@mail.mil. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition. Response is strictly voluntary; no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
