- Product Family PWS This is a sources sought notice for information and acquisition planning purposes. This is not a Request For Proposal and a formal solicitation is not available at this time. Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) is seeking vendors that can provide support for I-Level Product Family Services and their associated shops: Electronics, Weapons, Engine, Corrosion Control, Shipboard Hull, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronic Systems for U.S. Navy ships, other Government vessels, and craft homeported in or visiting the Southwest Region, under the jurisdiction of SWRMC. Required services include a full range of technical and repair support services throughout SWRMC's Product Families (PF): Corrosion Control, Engines, Machine, and Combat Systems. Within each Product Family are Product Lines in which specific types of repairs and services are provided to the Fleet. Contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens and a secret facilities clearance is required for the company and as a minimum. All support services shall be provided in the San Diego, CA metropolitan area unless other locations are specifically authorized. SWRMC is contemplating an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract. Interested contractors should submit a capabilities statement (not to exceed five pages) that demonstrates their capability to perform the services described herein. The capabilities statement shall include company name, address, small business status (small, small disadvantaged, women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned, or service-disabled veteran-owned), and point of contact (POC) information for the interested firm. The capabilities statement should identify, by contract number, past or current contracts and/or subcontracts that were awarded to your firm, period of performance, contract type, contract amount, a description of the relevant corporate experience gained, and a customer POC. Responses should be received no later than 12 March 2014, 1100 (PST).
