Description

The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA has a requirement for a Board Certified physician to perform duties of a Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) who shall provide coverage on weekends, holidays, evenings and nights typically working 16-hour shifts from 4 p.m. - 8 a.m. or 8-hour shifts from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Duty hours shall not exceeding 80 hours within a two-week pay period. Services shall be performed onsite at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, Dublin, GA as non-personal services. The Carl Vinson VA Medical Center is not a trauma center; therefore, the contracted physician may be either a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with American Medical Association (AMA) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved residency training in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or Emergency Medicine. The applicable NAICS Code is 621111 - Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), with a size standard of $10 million. This requirement is issued as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. The anticipated solicitation issue date is Tuesday, March 11, 2014 and will be available online at www.fbo.gov. The proposal due date will be March 21, 2014 and questions from offerors regarding the content of the solicitation will be due to the contracting officer no later than close of business on March 19, 2014. Telephone inquiries are not acceptable. Services under this Request for Proposal (RFP) are in accordance with 38 U.S. C. 8153.
