- United States Forest Service requires aerial imagery services for direct digital acquisition of 30cm resolution, 4-band stereo coverage of approximately 3,138 square miles of the Coconino National Forest, Arizona, and 2,488 square miles of the Carson National Forest, New Mexico. Imagery acquisition must be accomplished using a digital sensor that collects four-band multi-spectral natural color (RGB) and color infrared (CIR) simultaneously. The project will have an approximate flying season of May 15, 2014 through August 31, 2014. Upon contract award, the contractor is required to create and submit the proposed flight plan for Government review prior to the notice to proceed. Contract deliverables include: uncompressed 4-band, 8-bits per band GeoTIFFs, stereo block files, project geodatabase and other data files due 90 days after the end of the flying season. The solicitation will include option item(s) for orthorectified imagery as well as the option for increased quantity due to unanticipated urgent needs such as post-fire imagery, etc. The solicitation, number (RFP) AG-8447-S-14-0001, will be issued on or about Wednesday, March 12, 2014, with proposals due on or about Friday, April 11, 2014. This solicitation is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and will be issued under FAR Part 15. All responsible small businesses may submit a response that shall be considered. The small business size standard for NAICS Code 541922 is $7 Million.
