- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quotes and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. There is no solicitation, specifications or drawings available at this time. Military Sealift Command Norfolk has a requirement for the USNS SPEARHEAD (JHSV-1) for Regular Overhaul and Dry-Docking (ROH/DD) availability, on/about 22 October 2014 for 28 days. The place of performance will be a Contractors facility on the East/Gulf Coast. While the finalized list of work items is still under development, a list of the notional work package items is as follows: Dry Docking: Anode Replacement, Sea Valve and Sea Chest Inspection, Polish Waterjet Impellers, Inspect Waterjets, Ride Control Bearing and Seal Inspection MPDE Maintenance: MTU Main Eng Maint, 2000 Hr, MPDE Heat Exchanger Cleaning Other Maintenance: SSDG 3000 Hr Maint, Mission Bay Piping Isolation/Drains/Winterization, Marine Evacuation System Annual Cert, Flight Deck Tie Down Fitting Inspect, Stores Crane Maintenance, Rescue Boat and Davit Annual Inspection, Switchboard Cleaning, SCBA Annual Certification, Galley Duct Cleaning, Firefighting Annual Certification, Laundry Duct Cleaning, Hydraulic Power Pack Maintenance, Renew NAVIBS/Radio Safety Survey, Reduction Gear Oil Cooler Cleaning, Stern Ramp Maintenance and Flight Deck CBG Panel replacement Please provide a response demonstrating your firm's experience in performing similar work. This procurement will be solicited under NAICS Code 336611, Ship Building and Repair, which has a size standard of 1,000 employees.
