Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) intends to award a sole source contract to Livermore Sanitation, Inc., 7000 National Dr., Livermore, CA, 94550. This requirement is for non-hazardous waste collection service for the VA facility in Livermore, CA. Contractor shall furnish the necessary supervision, personnel, material, equipment and services to provide collection, removal and disposal services for solid waste (non-hazardous materials), and recyclable materials in accordance with terms, conditions and specifications contained herein for the VA Palo alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) Livermore Division, located at 4951 Arroyo Road, Livermore, California 94550 for the period of April 1, 2014 through September 30, 2014 plus four one-year option years. Please see the attached Justification and Approval for additional details. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by February 28th, 2014, 10:00 a.m. (PST). Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to felicia.demita@va.gov. Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
