Description

This notice is published for informational purposes only and not as a request for competitive proposals. The Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, FL intends to award a "Sole Source" contract, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for preventive maintenance and repair of the Triturus Automated Analyzer to Grifols USA, LLC. The contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, tools and parts necessary to maintain the Triturus Automated Analyzer System. Market research shall be continuously accomplished for prospective companies with similar or identical products that can meet the Governments needs. This requirement will be classified under NAICS 811219. No solicitation document is available. Interested persons may respond to the requirement by 4:00 pm Eastern Standard Time, February 26, 2014. Send responses to keila.president@va.gov. The government will evaluate responses to determine if a competitive solicitation is appropriate for future acquisitions.
