Description

This sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to this sources sought announcement. The main purpose of this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE is to identify potential vendors that are capable and qualified to provide supervision, personnel, labor, transportation, and necessary equipment to provide same day bonded security pick-up and delivery services at the West Texas VA Health Care System (WTVAHCS), located in Big Spring, Texas, for Bonded Courier / Armored Car Services. Vendors will be required to pick up deposits Wednesday and Friday of each week and deliver them to the bank. Please respond only if you meet all licensing and bonding requirements for the State of Texas to provide armored car / currency transport service. 'Notice of Interest' shall reply by 10:00 p.m. ET Friday, February 28, 2014. Responses should be emailed to sandra.martinez3@va.gov. All email correspondence for this project must reference the RFI Number and Project Title in the subject line of the email: VA258-14-I-0299, Big Spring, Texas -Bonded Courier/Armored Car Services.
