Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) intends to issue a sole source purchase order to General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), located at: 10560 Arrowhead Dr., Fairfax, VA 22030. The proposed purchase order is for database administration technical support, systems administration support, and help desk and production support technicians, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with GDAIS under authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. A Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been certified and approved and will be posted at the time of award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541519, "Other Computer Related Services" and the Small Business Size Standard is $25.5 million. The Government anticipates the award of a labor-hour purchase order with a period of performance of six months. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will not be made available. The closing date is for this notice is February 24, 2014.
