- ***The Site Visit is still scheduled for Tuesday 25 February 2014 at 10am GPJTC Lindsborg, KS; however the synopsis period has been extended through 4 March for the Solicitation posting.*** This is a Synopsis being issued in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.203 and serves as notice to announce the intent of the USPFO Kansas National Guard P&C to issue a solicitation for the Vigilant Guard (VG-14) Exercise Support requirement. The Contractor shall provide venue design recommendations, management of venues, provide role players (NIMS/ICS and General Popualation), moulage applications, trauma manikins and the set/reset of a Structure Venue Collapse System (i.e. Rubble Pile) under this contract at Salina / Lindsborg, KS and may include a smaller scale effort in the Kansas City, KS and Wichita, KS area TBD. The solicitation will be issued on or about Tuesday 04 March 2014. This requirement will be a Total Small Business Set Aside with an assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 611710 for Educational Support Services with a size standard of $14,000,000.00. The solicitation will be posted at the Army Single Face to Industry (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) and on the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov). All solicitation information may be obtained through the above referenced website(s). Interested parties should register online and subscribe to receive procurement announcements related to this solicitation. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring these sites for the release of the solicitation package. *****************************************Important********************************* SITE VISIT: Contractors desiring to submit a proposal are highly encouraged to attend the site visit at the Great Plains Joint Training Center - Crisis City (GPJTC-Crisis City) at address 5100 South Englund Road, Lindsborg, KS 67456. All interested firms may attend with a limit of two (2) attendees per company. Please respond to this invitation on your company letterhead in a Portable Document Format (PDF) with a list of your proposed attendees and indicate if you are interested in this acquisition as prime or subcontractor. All reservations must be received by the close of business Tuesday 18 February 2014 to MSG Dwayne Burgoon at dwayne.s.burgoon.mil@mail.mil. The current site visit is scheduled for Tuesday 25 February 2014 at the GPJTC-Crisis City at 10:00 am CST. Upon arrival there will be a location to sign in after which your attendees will be directed to a classroom in order to receive a Solicitation Overview. The duration of the site visit is anticipated not to exceed 3 hour(s). The Government reserves the right to modify or amend the time for the Site Visit at anytime. Any remarks or explanations provided by the Government representatives before, during and after the site visit, whether orally or in writing, shall not change or qualify any terms or conditions of the solicitation. Any such changes will be made by formal solicitation amendment. *****************************************Important********************************** To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov with the appropriate NAICS code of the intended solicitation and further qualify as a small business under the published size standard. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
