Description

BARGE IDIQ *The original Pre-solicitation number for this BARGE IDIQ was issued as N40027-14-R-0008. Due to an administrative error, the correct solicitation number is now N40027-14-R-0010. This solicitation will be awarded referencing N40027-14-R-0010. Barge Habitability Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is currently available. Solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business and is being extended to offerors on the East Coast of the Continental United States. The Southeast Regional Maintenance Center is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having interest in and the resources to support this requirement to maintain barge habitability under an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract for a base period of one (1) year and four (4) option year periods on ships home ported or visiting Naval Station Mayport, Jacksonville, Florida. The result of the market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611. The Government's market research is based on FAR Part 10 and DFARS Part 210, Market Research. Per the preferences in the above mentioned regulations, Small Businesses that do that type of work under NAICS code 336611 are: - Emerging Small Business - Minority/Woman Owned, HUB Zone Certified Small Business - Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business - 8A Small Business If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: Organization Name, address, email address, web site address, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization.
