Description

Statement of Work For Air Flow Test and Balance 619-14-2-5243-0160 OBJECTIVE: The objective of this contract is to provide services that are inclusive of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to ventilation air flow certification services at the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS). This work shall be conducted at sites located in Tuskegee and Montgomery Alabama. SITE VISIT: Bidders are encouraged to visit the site to prior to bid submittal. All bidders shall report the respective building on each site. The site visit shall be for the purpose of observing first hand any conditions relevant to the completion of this contract. No consideration will be given to claims based on a lack of knowledge of the existing conditions, except where contract documents make definite provisions for adjustment in cost or extension due to existing conditions not readily foreseeable. The site addresses are: 2400 Hospital Road 215 Perry Hill Road Tuskegee, Alabama 36083Montgomery, Alabama 36109 Engineering - Building # 13Boiler Plant - Building # 12 Charles Morgan 334-727-0550 x-3896Richie Adams 334-272-4670 x-4898 Engineering point of contact is Richie Adams 334-272-4670 x-4898; who shall provide any information concerning this work. HOURS OF WORK: The hours of work shall take place during the normal business hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded. Request for weekend work must be submitted in writing. "Inspections" will require a prior five day notification submitted to the Contract Officers Technical Representative (COTR) or government representative. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILTY: Contractor shall contact COTR, prior to all work commencing on site. Contractor is responsible for testing of the following ventilation systems: Montgomery "Testing of five exhaust fans for the SPS Department "Air flow change reporting for four Operating rooms and one recovery room "Air flow for the laboratory and morgue "Sterile storage and processing Montgomery(cont.) "Air exchange reports for fourteen additional rooms as follows; 2A115A - Negative pressure 2A115B - Negative pressure 2B121 - Anti 2B122- Negative pressure 2B124 - Negative pressure 2B125 - Anti 2B134 - Soil utility 2C107 - Negative pressure 2C107C - Anti 2C114 - Med Gas 3A109 - Soil utility 3A115A - Negative pressure 3A115B- Negative pressure GC119 - Soil utility "Exhaust Fan system for the above rooms "Supply Air Handling Unit for above rooms Tuskegee "Air exchange reports for the decontamination, prep, wash, sterilization, and sterile storage rooms. CONTRACTOR QUALIFICATIONS: "Vendor need to be registered with and have a Dunn & Bradstreet number. "Also they will have to be registered with and have a CCR number. "Hold a General Contractors license in the state of Alabama "Contractor must be certified to test and balance HVAC systems WARRANTY: N/A
